76 year old Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio from Buenos Aries in Argentina has been named the 266th Pope. He's the first Latin-American Pope in the history of the Catholic Church, which is the longest running institution in the history of mankind...almost 2,000 years old.
The new Pope was the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Argentina before he was elected to lead the Catholic church. He was ordained for the Jesuits on Dec. 13, 1969. He has chosen the Papal name - Pope Francis 1.

The casino now holds a world record of a cooked bacon cheeseburger which is three meters in diameter and weighs over a ton.
The giant burger was served at Black Bear Casino Resort near Carlton, Minnesota and tipped the scale at 2014 pounds or 914 kilograms.
Philip Robertson, a representative of the Guinness World Records verified the record as the largest burger. He called the feat a result of "remarkable teamwork" and said the burger "tasted really good".
According to the news media, the previous record for a burger was only 400 kilograms.
The Black Bear Casino burger included 27 kilos of bacon, 23 kilos of lettuce, 23 kilos of onions, 18 kilos of pickles and 18 kilos of cheese.
It took about four hours to cook the burger. A crane was used to flip the burger.
Locals enjoyed the delicious burger which they were able to eat free of charge.

A State pardon was granted today by President Goodluck Jonathan to convicted Ex-Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreiye Alamieyeseigha, and seven others, purportedly on the advice of the Council of State which is comprised of the President, Vice President, all state Governors, all living former presidents, Chief Justice of the Federation, the Senate President and speaker amongst others.
